Hi, I am Mohanna. (Think Moana the cartoon, and you’re close.)

I am a third-year PhD candidate in Conversational AI at Radboud University, where I am lucky to be co-advised by Arjen P. de Vries, Maarten de Rijke, and Faegheh Hasibi.

At Radboud, my research sits at the intersection of language models, reasoning, and information access. My ultimate goal, I guess, is finding ways past brute-force scaling to systems that adapt, make sense of things, and do more with less.
